1749, Apr 17 - Will: John Stull

Excerpt from Will of John Stull of Frederick County, Miller, 17 April 1749:

Item I do give to my Daughter Mary Groathouse one Shilling Sterling to be levied of my Estate & paid by my Exr on the Day of my Burial.

Item I do give and Bequeath to Rachel Groathouse Daughter of Mary Groathouse, fifty pounds Current Money payable from my Son Daniel to her at the sixteenth year of her age.

Item I do give and Bequeath to Martha Johnson Daughter of Elizabeth Johnson fifty pounds Current Money payable from my Son Daniel to her at the sixteenth year of her age being the Residue of the four hundred pounds above said that Daniel is to pay.

Footnotes:

1) Rachel Greathouse, daughter of Herman & Mary Stull Greathouse, born 20 Feb 1746, was baptized at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Germantown, Philadelphia County, PA on 12 Apr 1747. Rachel was no doubt the oldest of Herman and Mary's children and one of only two grandchildren of John Stull "the miller" who were born at the time he executed his will in Apr 1749.
